According to three diplomats speaking to Reuters, some military personnel have been advised to leave Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar by Wednesday evening. Al Udeid is the largest U.S. base in the Middle East, with about 10,000 soldiers stationed there. During the 12-day war, the Islamic Republic had launched missile attacks on this base. Previously, before the U.S. airstrikes in June, some personnel had been relocated from other U.S. bases in the region.
