She added, "The peaceful protests of the people of Iran, who are demanding to have their voices heard against the repression and continuous human rights violations by the Iranian government, have led this government to blatantly disregard human lives." The Canadian Foreign Minister condemned the violence and repression of protesters in Iran and called for an immediate cessation of these actions by the Islamic Republic.
