The outlet reiterated the Islamic Republic's claim that protesters in Iran are connected to 'foreign think tanks,' asserting that the internet shutdown was aimed at 'cutting this connection.'

Fars stated that after the SMS services are established, access to the national internet and domestic messaging apps will be activated, and ultimately access to the global internet will be possible. However, the media warned that this phased return will occur 'according to the conditions' and there is no specific timeline for it.
