A reporter from Manoto has released videos of the hacking of the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (IRIB) television channels. Following a possible cyber attack, several television networks broadcasting via the Badar or Arabsat satellites were hacked for a few minutes, during which videos of protests in the 'Iranian National Revolution' and a message from Prince Reza Pahlavi were aired instead of regular programming.

In this context, one of the IRIB officials denied the cyber attack in an interview with the Tasnim news agency, describing the incident as a 'signal war.' According to him, 'The incident last night did not have a cyber nature; rather, it was a type of signal war.' He explained that a strong and disruptive signal was sent from outside the country on the same frequency, causing interference. This official added that while the IRIB signal was being transmitted, a disruptive carrier from outside the country sent a strong signal on the same frequency, and when the power of this disruptive signal increases, its transmitted content replaces the original content.
