Lindsey Graham, senior Republican senator, mentioned Donald Trump, the former President of the United States, supporting the people of Iran in an interview with Fox, stating: "Trump has done what Reagan did in the past. Reagan went to the Berlin Wall and said, tear down this wall. Donald Trump also preferred the people over the Ayatollah."
This Republican senator added: "Donald Trump says the best way to restore greatness to Iran is for the protesters to win and for the regime to fall. Any action you are going to take, Mr. President, should embolden the protesters and terrify the regime."
Graham emphasized: "If I were you, Mr. President, I would take out the leader who is killing the people. You need to put an end to this."
He also stated: "If this situation goes well, then peace will be established and all state-sponsored terrorism activities will cease."
Graham concluded by noting: "If the leader of the Islamic Republic survives, it will be a significant step backward, just like during Obama’s time."
