Amin-Hossein Rahimi, the Minister of Justice of the Islamic Republic, announced on Wednesday, on the sidelines of a cabinet meeting, that no leniency or compromise will be shown to those responsible for the 'riots.' He claimed that from January 7 onwards, 'there were no protests' and the country witnessed 'full-scale terrorist actions.' Rahimi also added that legal actions against the 'Zionist regime, the United States, and monarchists' are on the agenda, and the judiciary is working to distinguish those he referred to as 'terrorists.'
