Israeli media have reported that the political-security cabinet of Netanyahu's government will hold a meeting today at 7 PM local time focused on Iran.
According to a Ynet report, topics including "potential plans for transitioning to an attack on the Islamic Republic" in coordination with the United States will be discussed in this meeting.
The issue of attacking the Islamic Republic has intensified in recent days amid escalating protests. Donald Trump first warned the Islamic Republic during a meeting with Benjamin Netanyahu in the United States not to suppress protesters. He subsequently issued several more warnings with a more serious tone, most recently stating that the military is examining how to deal with the Islamic Republic.
American media have reported that the U.S. government has presented options for dealing with the Islamic Republic due to its repression and killings to Trump, one of which is a military option.
