Reuters reported that in the wake of rising regional tensions, dozens of commercial ships have anchored at a distance from the limits of Iranian ports. Based on data from the ship tracking company 'MarineTraffic', at least 25 bulk carriers have come to a standstill in Iran's exclusive economic zone and near Khorramshahr port. Additionally, the data indicates that 25 other ships, including container and cargo vessels, have anchored further south near Bandar Abbas.
