Sadegh Parvizadeh, a wildlife photographer and videographer, announced in a video on his Instagram page that he was shot in the face and eye during the December 2024 protests.
In the video, showing a pellet, he said: 'This thing in my hand is a pellet from hunting rifles; pellets that are used to kill wolves and boars, and a single shot can launch many of them towards a target.'
Parvizadeh emphasized that the person who shot him was a 'young person.' In another video, he referred to the help he received from emergency personnel for dressing his face and said: 'The emergency team removed the pellets from my head and face, but one pellet remains in my eye, which has caused a severe infection and requires surgery. However, due to the presence of agents, I cannot go to the hospital.'
