This is the second conversation between Trump and Netanyahu in two days regarding Iran. The call took place while the President of the United States is still considering his options - a potential military strike on one hand and diplomatic negotiations on the other. According to Axios, during the phone call on Wednesday, Netanyahu had asked Trump to postpone military action against Iran to give Israel more time to prepare for a possible Iranian response. Axios reported that this was one of the factors that led Trump to decide to delay the order for an attack on Iran.
