Donald Trump, the President of the United States, referring to the Gaza peace agreement, stated that if the U.S. had not attacked the nuclear facilities of the Islamic Republic, there would be no peace in the Middle East today. He added that the Islamic Republic is no longer a 'bully' in the Middle East and that countries do not fear it anymore.

Trump described the role of the Islamic Republic in the region, saying: 'We had a bully; that bully was Iran, the bully of the Middle East. For years, it was referred to this way. Iran was the bully of the Middle East, but it is no longer the bully of the Middle East.'

He considered the attack on the Islamic Republic's nuclear facilities as the main factor in the formation of the peace agreement, adding: 'What we did was extraordinary, and it was because of that action that we were able to establish peace. If we had not done that, there would have been no chance for peace, because the countries I mentioned and other countries would never have been able to sign an agreement. They were afraid. They were really afraid.'

He also stated that if the U.S. had not taken this action, the Islamic Republic would have acquired nuclear weapons within two months, adding: 'They were very close to having nuclear weapons, and we dealt a heavy blow to them, and it was a complete destruction.'
