Criticizing the lack of sufficient support for these protests, he added: 'This is a reality. They stood in a corner. In Europe, it was Christmas and New Year celebrations and holiday time. But when politicians returned to work and expressed their positions, the Ayatollah killed thousands.'

Zelensky raised the question of 'What future will Iran have after this bloodshed?' warning that if the regime continues to exist, its message to any 'tyrant' will be: 'Kill enough people to remain in power.'
